DESCRIPTION:Class Overview and Curriculum:\nThis class covers all of the material from the basic robot and controller maintenance class and includes more difficult-to-replace components as outlined by the topics listed below. Each class covers 1 robot model and 1 controller model. Each student participates in the disassembly and reassembly of components while under the supervision and direction of the instructor. Questions and discussion are encouraged during the class.\nThe purpose of this class is not to make any student a robot expert, but to give each student a level of knowledge, familiarity, and comfort with the robot hardware, so they understand the fundamental concepts of the DENSO robot system and are empowered with the tools they need for problem solving and development when they return.\n\nMotor Replacement\nBelt Replacement\nHarmonic Drive Replacement (select robots)\nBrake Replacement (HS series only)\nPower Conversion Board Replacement\nShaft Replacement (HS series and HM series)\nInternal wiring harness replacement\nCross roller bearing replacement (HS series, VS series, VM series)\nController and Robot Replacement (of the same type of robot/controller)\nCalset Calibration\nController Component Replacement (select components)\nCommon Error-Code remedies\nPreventative Maintenance Items\n\nWho Should Attend:\n\nMachine Operators\nRobot Operators\n\nPrerequisites: RC8A Basic Robot Programming & Operation preferred\nTraining Duration: 3-4 days at DENSO Midwest Training Facility (duration dependent on robot model)\nClass Size: Two to three Students\nPrice: $1,500 USD per Student (VSA models require additional jig purchase by customer)\nNote: The price includes lunch and refreshments.
