Robot Arm Batteries are dead. What's next?

If your batteries are dead, and you lose power then you will also lose encoder position data.
In order to recover from this issue you will need to perform the following:

  • Determine your robot arm model (see picture below) 



Once you have identified your robot arm model you can review the procedure to replace the batteries of your robot model:

NOTE:
Encoder batteries are good for 2 years. Replacing them every 2 years is recommended to avoid necessary downtime and loss of project data.
